My approach to self-care and coping is all about utilizing the senses, so I’ve organized these according to sight, sound, smell, taste and touch. Some will naturally overlap, but I’ve tried to arrange things for a distressed brain to navigate easily. This book is for people who have given birth AND partners who are looking for some simple, practical coping strategies. This book is also for birth workers who may have witnessed or heard about a traumatic birth at work.
